Tetzaveh – תצוה

February 12, 2022
Exodus 27:20-30:10; Ezekiel 43:10-27; Philippians 4:10-20

Torah Portion “‘תצוה/Tetzaveh” which means “You shall command,” begins, “And you, you are to command the children of Yisra’ĕl to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually.”

How do New Testament Parables interweave with ancient temple ritual? Can knowledge of Torah be a liability over faithful obedience? Is it possible that the instructions given to the sons of Aaron to maintain the lamps of the Temple are pivotal to receiving the messages in parables of Yeshua? Pastor Richard explores not only these exciting connections, but also provides the key instruction on how to wear the proper garments and use the proper oil to be counted among Yeshua’s beloved sheep. Join us in examining these amazing parallels. In this Torah portion, come gain a concrete path and realistic understanding of how to be recognized as acceptable and approved as righteous before G-d.

This week our Haftorah teaching is delivered by Ro’ah Alpha from Ezekiel 43:10-27, and the New Covenant E-drash is delivered by Brother Mark from Philippians 4:10-20.
