Pinchas – פינחס

July 23, 2022
Numbers 25:10-30:1; 1 King 18:46-19:21; John 2:13-22, Acts 2:1-21

Torah Portion “פינחס/Pinchas” which means “Mouth of Brass” and begins, “10 Adonai said to Moshe, 11 ‘Pinchas the son of El‘azar, the son of Aharon the cohen, has deflected my anger from the people of Isra’el by being as zealous as I am, so that I didn’t destroy them in my own zeal.'”

What does a believer share in common with a nonbeliever? Join us today as Ro’eh Richard walks you through this question in Scripture, from the boldness of Pinchas (Phineas), to the prophet Elijah, to the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) Himself.

Hashem will give you the strength to gird yourself with courage and laugh in the face of conflict. He will provide you with the double edged sword to divide between the holy and the profane whilst giving you a mouth of brass. Here you will learn if there is any harmony between the Messiah and Balial.

This week our Haftorah teaching is delivered by Ro’eh Richard from 1 Kings 18:46-19:21 and the New Testament e-drash is delivered by Brother Mark from John 2:12-22.
